Several studies have been conducted in recent years on the effects of flavonoid consumption on human health.

The results are impressive and range from reduced incidence of degenerative disorders (cardiovascular diseases, arterial hypertension, stroke, tumour, diabetes, cognitive decline and neurodegenerative conditions), to the capacity to fight skin ageing and contribute towards a youthful appearance.
