Ginkgo biloba, also called tree of life, is one of the most ancient plants on earth.

The name biloba, derived from Latin bis and lobus, refers to the shape of the leaves divided into lobes. Ginkgo was imported from the East in the mid-1700s. Highly resistant to drought, cold and atmospheric pollution, it is especially used as an ornamental plant, and is considered a fossil plant because it was already present when there were only ferns and horsetail on earth, and it has remained the only genre of its species.

Traditional medicine considers it an elective remedy for circulatory disorders.

In fact, particular focus is given to its potential capacity of stimulating cerebral and peripheral microcirculation trophism. This property is strengthened by the antioxidant activity of ginkgo-flavones, active ingredients that prevent oxidative damage caused by free radicals.

Ginkgo-flavon glycosides and terpene derivatives are the active ingredients of Ginkgo Forte. They act synergistically and possess microvascular and nootropic properties that contribute to improve microcirculation and have an antagonist action against reactions triggered by allergic, inflammatory and immunologic diseases.

Ginkgo-flavon glycosides: flavonoids with antioxidant properties.

Terpene derivatives: the main constituents of resins, essential oils and plants.

Centella asiatica: native plant of Pakistan and India known for centuries, mostly helpful for the microcirculatory function, memory and cognitive functions.

Choline: essential nutrient for humans as it is a structural element of phospholipid membranes that are vital for brain development.

Inositol: water soluble vitamin that is common in foodstuffs and in eukaryotic cells, it is present in fresh fruit, vegetables, beans and hazelnuts.
