Omega 3-6-9 Vegan

Omega 3-6-9 Food Supplement

with more than 90% of omega 3-6-9 fatty acids. 100% plant-based.

Starting from alpha linoleic acid (ALA), the body synthesises EPA and DHA, polyunsaturated fatty acids with an important action on cardiac function, which they manifest by reducing triglyceride levels, slowing down the formation of the atherosclerotic plaque, preventing arrhythmias, improving endothelial function and controlling blood pressure.

Gamma linoleic acid (GLA) is an  omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid with particular anti-inflammatory effects especially on the skin.

Finally, omega-9 oleic acid substitutes saturated fats, supporting a greater conversion of ALA into omega-3, with a positive effect on cardiovascular health.

The product contains Ahiflower®, Buglossoides arvensis seed refined oil extract that make it suitable for the vegan consumer.

Ahiflower® possesses pleasant sensory properties, delicate odour and flavour, resolving palatability issues observed with fish oils.

Omega-3: they protect the cardiovascular system with beneficial effects on triglycerides, and regulate the inflammatory response, reducing the harmful effects of pro-inflammatory cytokines.

Omega-6: they influence prostaglandin metabolism, and have a protective action on the cardiovascular system by regulating platelet aggregation processes, LDL cholesterol synthesis, triglyceride levels and blood pressure.

Omega-9: non-essential fatty acids because the body can synthesise them starting from other unsaturated fats. The replacement of saturated fats in the diet with unsaturated ones, like oleic acid, contributes to maintain normal blood cholesterol levels and cardiovascular health.
