The properties of quercetin have been much studied, and promising results have been found in numerous clinical studies.

In this formula, quercetin is associated with ascorbic acid, a vitamin of essential importance for the immune system. It has been shown that taking vitamin C and quercetin together performs a synergistic action because of the overlapping properties of the two compounds and the ability of ascorbate to recycle quercetin, increasing its efficacy.

Furthermore, quercetin has been suggested as a key element in the cardiovascular protection attributed to the Mediterranean diet, which would explain the inverse correlation between flavonoid consumption and heart disease.

The particular t/r (time release) form of ascorbic acid allows its gradual release into the body over a period of 12 hours.

Quercetin: a substance belonging to a group of polyphenolic substances known as flavonoids. Specifically, it is a member of the flavonols, a special class of flavonoids commonly found in the vegetable kingdom in rinds and peels.
