Fermented red rice food supplement

standardized to 3% monacolins, with coenzyme Q10.

Red rice has always been used in China as a flavour enhancer in the production of red rice wine, which is used in eastern cuisine as a vinegar substitute and health-promoting ingredient.

Its mechanism of action, as with lovastatin (pharmacological statin), inhibits HMG-CoA reductase enzyme activity and, subsequently, cholesterol synthesis in the body.

The titrated and standardized plant extract maintains the quality and quantity of natural active ingredients unchanged, ensuring the product's stability, bioavailability and efficacy.

Monacolins: monacolins chemical structure and action resemble that of lovastatin, a compound used for its cholesterol-reducing properties.

Coenzyme Q10: also called ubiquinone or ubidecarenone, it is a cofactor required for ATP synthesis and cellular bioenergetic activity. Statins reduce its levels, causing some side effects (myalgia).

Ingredients: bulking agent (m.c. cellulose), fermented red rice dry extract, coenzyme Q10, anti-caking agent (vegetable magnesium stearate). Vegetable origin capsule in hydroxypropyl methylcellulose

The maximum daily intake of monacolins from red rice fermented by fungus must be less than 3 mg. Do not take during pregnancy or breastfeeding or if taking lipid-lowering drugs or other products containing fermented red rice. Consult your doctor if any health problems arise while taking this product. Do not take if under the age of 18 or over the age of 70. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied diet and must be used while following a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Do not take more than the recommended daily dose.
