Rosa Canina

Rose Hips Food Supplement

The berries (faux fruits) of the Rose Hips are natural sources of vitamin C, which they contain in quantities exceeding 50-100-fold their content in oranges and lemons. This contributes to reinforce the body’s natural defences. Particularly, the Rose Hips fortifies upper airways with an effective anti-inflammatory action, which indicates it for common colds.

Flavonoids contained in the flesh and skin act synergistically with vitamin C; hence the protective effect on blood vessels and blood circulation improving action. Vitamin C favours the absorption of calcium and iron in the intestine, thus effectively preventing anaemia.

The titrated and standardised plant extract maintains the quality and quantity of natural active ingredients unchanged, ensuring the product's stability, bioavailability and efficacy.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid): one of the most important vitamins our body is unable to synthesise and, thus, needs to take with the diet. It does not build up in the body, and must be taken regularly to maintain constant blood levels. Rose Hips fruits are a very rich source of vitamin C.
